Ahavat Yisrael Hebrew School offers a curriculum of supplementary Jewish education in a challenging and enjoyable atmosphere.

We provide a curriculum that includes Hebrew Reading and language, Jewish Holidays & Traditions, weekly Parsha (Bible) stories and Jewish History.

To encourage a diverse learning experience, we have a music specialist on staff who teaches a variety of Hebrew Language and Jewish themed songs.

Ahavat Yisrael is dedicated to maintaining a small student/teacher ratio. We recognize the individual needs of each student and therefore offer both enrichment and remedial reading programs to ensure that all students achieve their maximum potential. There is a Special Education consultant on staff to facilitate the learning process.

In addition to our Basic Curriculum, our Hebrew school in North York arranges a variety of special events during the year to give the students an awareness of their Jewish heritage and enhance their positive Jewish experiences. Affiliated with the Julia & Henry Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education.
